MANSFIELD VILLAGE Celebration of the Parke County COVERED BRIDGE FESTIVAL™ — Visitors to Mansfield Village during the annual Parke County Covered Bridge Festival will find it unlike anywhere else in the county. Thousands of vendor booths populate the town for the ten-day event that attracts the best festival foods around. It is the only place in the county where you can board free trolley rides into the festival area. A covered food court rests on top of the hill in Mansfield to sit, eat and relax out of the weather. The majestic Mansfield Covered Bridge is at the center of the bustling festival activity in this historic village located in the southern part of Parke County. Built in 1867 by J. J. Daniels, this bridge crosses Big Raccoon Creek. The 1920's Mansfield Roller Mill is just up the creek and still operates daily. Visit Mansfield Village and see what makes us the largest attraction during the Covered Bridge Festival. Festival hours are from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm from October 12th through the 21st. — www.MansfieldVillage.com
