St. Christopher Mid-Summer Festival

 July 16 - 18, 2009
Indianapolis, Indiana

The St. Christopher Mid-Summer Festival is one of the oldest festivals in the state of Indiana.  Since Labor Day weekend of 1937 we have become known at “The Festival that’s Tops in Food!”  At St. Christopher’s we take great pride in preparing nearly all the food that is served right in our own kitchen.  Our homemade Pork BBQ and Coney sauces are made from the original recipes that date back to the 1940’s, but our claim to fame is our hand battered fish sandwiches.  In our three day annual event volunteers will batter and serve over 2 ½ tons of Icelandic Cod representing about 15,000 sandwiches.  In addition to the food we have a wide variety of amusement rides, children’s carnival games, bingo and a Monte Carlo area for the adults.  On Friday evening St. Christopher welcomes “Polkaboy,” Indy’s premier rock/polka band.  Saturday is kid’s day at the festival; pay one price for unlimited rides from 1:00-5:00 pm.

Hours: Thursday 5:00-10:00 pm; Friday 5:00 – 11:00 pm; Saturday Noon – 11:00 pm; Free Admission.
