This is a small town festival that celebrates the Spencerville Covered Bridge, the only covered bridge in DeKalb County.  The festival features crafts, lots of food, children's activities, live entertainment, an auction and so much more!  This year, we are featuring "Mayberry Memories"; Barney, Gomer and their car (a replica from the show!) will be here both days to interact with the crowd and bring a ton of fun to the festival.

Each year Rossville celebrates the end of the summer with a festival.  It takes place the fourth full weekend in August.  Many events include a car show, fireworks, music, street fair, parade, 5K Hornet Hustle, King & Queen contest, Little Miss & Little Mister contest and town wide garage sales.  We finish the weekend with a community worship service held on Sunday.  Make the Summer’s End festival part of your end of the summer plans.

Vevay, Indiana is home to the annual Swiss Wine Festival which takes place in the Riverfront Park on the banks of the beautiful Ohio River. This year’s festival will feature many varieties of great Indiana wines, Riverboat Cruises along with Hot Wax 50’s & 60’s Show band and great children’s entertainment.  The festival has events and entertainment for all ages. The event schedule includes Midwest Championship Grape Stomp, Steintossen, 5K Walk/Run, 3-on-3 basketball jamboree, Grand Festival Parade, Lighted Boat Parade, Canoe Race, Cheerleader Competition, Corn Hole Tournament, and a Poker Run.  Attractions include three entertainment stages, Wine Tasting Pavilion, Beer Garden, arts and crafts booths, amusement rides and the Little Swiss Polka Dancers.

Gourd art using a variety of shapes and sizes of gourds, techniques.  Classes for adults include weaving, painting, wood burning, etc.  Free children’s classes include making a work of art using the gourd.  Demonstrations for using tools such as wood burners, jig saws, etc. and information on how to grow and harvest gourds.  Food, drink and music are available.
